Pricing questions, answered
Is the first 7 days really free?
Yes. When your store is approved, your commission is set to 0% for 7 days — you keep 100% of every sale you make in that window. Nothing to claim and no code to enter; it is applied automatically, and your rate returns to the standard 3% once the 7 days are up. You can see exactly when it ends in your seller dashboard.
When do I actually pay the fee?
Only when you make a sale, and only after your first 7 commission-free days. The 3% success fee — capped at Rs 100 per product in an order — is deducted from each completed order. If you don't sell anything, you pay nothing.
Is the 3% really capped at Rs 100?
Yes — on each product in an order. However much of one product a customer buys, the success fee on that product never goes above Rs 100. On Rs 10,000 worth of it that works out to just 1%, and it keeps shrinking from there.
Is the cap per order or per product?
Per product. The cap applies to each product separately, not to the order as a whole — an order with three different products is capped at Rs 100 on each of them, not Rs 100 across all three. Ten units of the same product is still one product, so still one cap. So the most you can ever pay on an order is Rs 100 multiplied by the number of different products in it — and on each of those, 3% is usually far less than the cap anyway.
What about orders I bring in myself?
Phone and counter orders you type into your dashboard are charged just 1%, capped at Rs 100 per product in an order — not the standard 3%. That customer was yours, not ours. And it is free for your first 100 days; we send you a notification the day before that ends, so it never arrives as a surprise on a statement.
Can I cover the delivery charge for my customer?
Yes, on any order you enter yourself. Pick our courier and you choose how much of the delivery the customer pays — anything from the full rate down to nothing. Whatever you don't pass on is billed to your account once the order is delivered, so a haggle over delivery doesn't have to become a discount on the product. Deliver it yourself instead and there is no delivery charge at all.
What does it cost to take online payments?
