Why vendor approval is required for certain products ?

Certain products in Himalayan Green require vendor approval for order confirmation. What products require vendor confirmation is controlled by vendors on a per-product basis.
Sometimes vendors are selling their products from both their farms for walk-in customers and online marketplaces like Himalayan Green for which they would want to avoid the problem of over-booking. Other times, they may be selling products that aren't fit for long-distance delivery like cheese, fresh vegetables, etc. For these orders, the vendor would want to confirm the order based on where it is supposed to be delivered and whether the product is available at their disposal.
While this feature means that the customer won't get instant order confirmation, this is what it costs if we want to consume fresh local products and respect their producers.
Note that, only when the vendor accepts your order can you make payments for these products. You will be notified via email and in-app notifications at himaligreen.com about whether your order request was accepted or declined.
Once you add a product to the cart, you'll know whether a product requires vendor approval on the product detail page just below the cart information as shown in the picture below.
